Hi my friends, my name is Jan and I love teaching Spring Forest Qigong. This practice is very gentle, and all abilities can participate by either standing, sitting or lying down. It is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine which include the 5 elements - Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. This modality is a form of medical qigong, and many many individuals have benefited from the healing energies that occur when doing this practice, myself included. I injured my wrist while lifting my laptop and sustained a physical injury which also included nerve damage. Various treatments were incorporated in my rehabilitation, but I wasn't completely healed. The nerve damage persisted which included lack of strength, restricted mobility and pain. I also became depressed. I started practicing daily the SFQ movements and included a Small universe meditation. Every day I felt shifts in my body and in my mental health and then one day during the meditation I felt a complete release of energy in the areas that were damaged. The energy was flowing. I regained my strength, mobility and no pain, but while I was practicing, I was also feeling happier, more grateful, my mental health was improving. The founder of Spring Forest Qigong, Grand Master Chunyi Lin has a mission: "A healer in every home is a world without pain and suffering". I have joined him on this mission and have several of my students who can share healing stories. Join me and 24 other practitioners in discovering the incredible benefits (physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually) that you will encounter practicing this modality.
