Senna Wellness Retreat is an all-inclusive wellness resort that offers a personalized healing journey of body and mind through physical and spiritual pathways to all-around health and applying three main pillars: Nourish, Rest & Empower. The word “Senna”, itself, comes from a local vietnamese plant “Phan Tả Diệp” which aims to detox one’s body. Sen, on its own, also means “Lotus” which has always presented purity, self-regeneration, and rebirth.

Occupying a serene, picturesque hilltop in the city of Bac Ninh near Vietnam’s capital Hanoi, the agelessly idyllic setting is a haven of tranquility far removed from the relentless torrent of intrusive marketing, urban mayhem and hyper-connected social existence that define much of the modern world. Activities

YOGA SESSION

The Yoga session is designed to connects breath and asana postures with flowing movements. This type of session is ideal for increasing physical strength, endurance, flexibility, and deepening the breath. This yoga is a type of moving meditation and is suitable for beginners with some level of physical fitness.

MINDFUL MEDITATION

Mindfulness meditation is a powerful awareness practice and stress management tool, in which the breath is the main focal point, allowing you to bring your attention to the internal and external experience of the present moment. This form of meditation is perfect for beginners, and once taught, is easily practiced at home. It is a viable and life-enhancing means of reducing stress, improving energy and well-being of mind and body, and gaining a deeper understanding of ourselves.

PRANAYAMA (BREATH WORK)

Prana is the Sanskrit term for life force and aims to not only improve breathing patterns and oxygenation of blood but to also enhance the flow of life force energy throughout the body. The result is increased awareness of self, enhanced connection, vitality, and both physical and emotional strength. Pranayama is also an excellent means to prepare for meditation. Our expert instructors will guide you through a series of yogic breathing techniques tailored to your ability and needs.
