Community Solar eclipse viewing party April 8, 2024
Join us at The Beauty Barn in our outdoor wellness Space to witness the biggest astronomical event of the year. Our astrologist Kait Fowlie will be joining us and is providing insight to what’s happening in our galaxy. (If you can’t join us today you can, you can see the instagram stories for Kait’s galaxy guide updates) We will also have the labyrinth open for those looking to do a meditation walk. If weather permits will have a fire going. We have lots of seating & stools for approximately 20 people, but feel free to bring your own snacks / lawn chair or blanket if desired.

AWAKENING TO BETTER BEAUTY - September 22 2024
Awakening to Better Beauty is an annual project that The Beauty Barn puts on. This day is a private event dedicated specifically to those in cancer care and palliative clients who are nominated to attend from the hospital nursing staff. This is a gift for those undergoing cancer treatment. It is a complementary day of spa services, pampering, lunches & Keepsake Photoshoots.
We work with the nurses in the Brantford General Hospital Oncology Department and our community to Nominate these women who are so deserving of a little me time.
For us the day consists of focusing on safer products & services geared towards feel good service’s approved by Oncology Aesthetics Training International.
The day includes Massage, Hair & Wig styling, Makeup, Nail Polish, a variety of different treats and beverages and the best part… once the women have finished indulging the women are given an opportunity to have a professional photographer do an outdoor keepsake photo session. They are invited to have the photos taken solo or invite A loved one to be in the photo with them.
As they get ready to leave the event they are taken into the gift bag area where they can receive a gift bag filled with donations from loving like minded business.
( Most times our medical system only treats the sickness. But in my opinion there is a tiny missing part of healing that could offer so much to a client. When we look at self care as a key to treating the whole person and the emotional body it can make the days pass a little easier. Especially when there’s something to look forward to.
